Enforcement Rules for Garbage Classification and Removal in Hsinchu County
Dear denizens: garbage classification, including ordinary garbage, recyclable garbage, and food scraps/kitchen waste has been
implemented nationwide since Jan. 1 st , 2006 Ordinary garbage: (1) those can be treated by burying or incinerating, excluding recyclable garbage and food scraps/kitchen waste (2) those shall be wrapped with transparent plastic bags, or the cleaning workers can randomly pick up and puncture the bags for inspection
Resources:
(1) Those unable or forbidden for recycling shall be deemed as ordinary garbage for removal
(2) All households shall classify garbage that can be reused for resources, and hand it to the recycling truck.

三、 food scraps/kitchen waste
( 一 ) Used for pig raising and fertilizer: not to be included as recycled substance and be collected by the producing units and township cleaning squad
